A Proud Moment at Hawthorn Leisure Centre’s 50th Anniversary 🎉

Being inducted into the RCT Hall of Fame during the Hawthorn Leisure Centre 50th Anniversary is something I will always remember. It’s an honour that represents not just my own efforts, but the commitment of every student, instructor, and supporter who has been part of the journey.

Thank you to Rhondda Cynon Taf for the recognition, and to everyone who has trained, supported, and shared this path with me.

Here’s to many more years of training, growth, and community. 🥋

Celebrating the award alongside some of my dedicated black belts, whose hard work and loyalty have been a huge part of the journey.

Honoured by Rhondda Cynon Taf

The recent 50th Anniversary celebrations at Hawthorn Leisure Centre turned into an unforgettable occasion, bringing together members of the community to mark five decades of sport, fitness, and dedication. What began as a celebration of the centre’s history became an incredible personal milestone when a surprise announcement was made during the event.

I was also joined by members of the Pontypridd class, who were there to celebrate the moment as part of the wider group. Seeing so many familiar faces and students who have trained together over the years made the evening even more memorable.

Their support, dedication, and enthusiasm are what make the club such a strong and positive community.
