Karateka from Across the UK Join Forces at Hertford Dojo

The Hertford Dojo was proud to host a highly successful MOKKO Kumite training session this weekend, welcoming students and instructors from across the UK for a day of intense and inspiring Kyokushin karate practice.

Led by the esteemed Shihan Alwyn Heath, along with Sensei Garry Haines and Sensei Arvid Tage, the session focused on advanced Kyokushin kumite techniques, discipline, and the deeper aspects of full-contact training. Despite recovering from a knee injury, Shihan Heath delivered invaluable insight into the spirit and precision of Kyokushin, demonstrating dedication and leadership that motivated everyone present.

We were honoured to be joined by karateka from Pontypridd Dojo, Barking Dojo, and several others who travelled to Hertford to take part in this enriching experience. It was a true demonstration of the unity and strength of the Kyokushin community in the UK.

A heartfelt thank you to all instructors and participants who made the event such a success. Osu to everyone who stepped on the mats, pushed their limits, and contributed to the incredible energy of the day.

Well done to all!
