BKG British Open 2023

Pontypridd student’s success in BKG Open British Karate Tournament!

Pontypridd student Elai Button was successful in the BKG British Open Championships in Crystal Palace on November 11th 2023.

We tarvelled to London with Senseis Garry Haines & Denise Jones.  Elai fought well and eventually gained 2nd Place in his category.  A long day waiting for the Category to start but worthwhile.  It was nice to catch up with old friends, Nick Da Costa, Jeff Wybrow, Mac Robinson, Frank Perry, Joe Borg, Maureen Begg, Lisa Fludder to name but a few.  We were well received and look forward to next year’s tournament.
